Summary: Wonderful high-end, old-school Bavarian charm and service. Beautiful grounds, easy walk to the Tegernsee, a comfortable and welcoming room, sumptuous breakfast buffet, and excellent hotel restaurant. My new favorite place in Germany!

Summary: Charming hotel with excellent staff and service in ideal location on the banks of Tergensee. Lovely ambience in the restaurant and bar in the evenings with live pianist. Comfortable room but bed slightly hard and no air conditioning during heat wave.

Summary: This is a first rate luxury hotel. The staff is responsive & always at your service. The included breakfast is over the top - more selections of Grrman cheeses, cold cuts, breads than you can imagine. The indoor pool & sauna are excellent; the grounds are loaded with random sculpture. Our room was a bit smaller than I like, but the bathroom was great. You can't go wrong at this luxury hotel, & it's a very short walk from a lovely lake & stylish shopping. Pricey but certainly worth it.

Summary: On arrival there was a mix up with our booking, but the team could not do enough to find us a room and to make our stay good. We would definitely stay here again and intend to. The area is lovely we rented bikes from hotel and enjoyed the gardens.
